For information relating to plasma conduits in Star Trek canon, see plasma conduit.

Plasma conduits were an integral part of the power distribution network aboard many starships and space stations in many space-faring species.

Warp plasma conduit

Warp plasma conduits were specific types of plasma conduits, responsible for directing larger amounts of warp plasma from the warp core to warp nacelles.

Aboard the USS Cantabrian (NCC-24705), two warp plasma conduits ran from the warp core aftwards under the deck plating on the primary deck of engineering down a corridor aft of the warp core chamber. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions)

EPS conduit

Electro-plasma system conduits (known as EPS conduits) were plasma conduits responsible for directing small amounts of plasma from the warp core or impulse drive to power various areas and systems.

In 2367, the USS Princeton (NCC-59804) was severely damaged in the Battle of Wolf 359 against the Borg. A ruptured EPS conduit trapped a small group of survivors, led by Lieutenant ch'Arus, between a section with a hull breach and the emergency environmental support shelter. An away team from the USS Worsaae (NCC-1821) arrived, and Lieutenant Jason Athelstan and ch'Arus worked to erect a force field over the rupture to allow the survivors to escape. They were successful.
