In 2367, Anne Lansing was the first officer of a starship made to look like the USS Prospect. In reality, she was a clone aboard the USS Des Plaines that went missing two years earlier near the Federation-Tzenkethi border. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Tzenkethi Incident", "Live to Tell")

The real Dr. Justin O'Donovan and Jennifer Drever, with urging from the Daniel Radke clone, convinced the Lansing clone to question Captain John Greene's orders. With Radke thrown in the brig with O'Donovan and Drever for doing so, Lansing and several mutineers freed the trio and fled on shuttlecraft as the faux-Prospect was being destroyed in a battle with a Directorate battle cruiser.

She and the other survivors were transferred to Earth. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Live to Tell")
