Aladra Thau was an Ubessian female child.
She was born to Yaghim and Leanda Thau sometime before 2362 and raised on the planet Ubessi in the Beloti sector.
During the Federation-Cardassian War, Starfleet and Cardassian forces clashed over the planet, sending a Starfleet starship crashing to Ubessi's surface, causing a massive matter-antimatter explosion, destroying most of the main city and polluting the planet. Aladra, her mother, and her brother died, while Yaghim and his colleagues, protected in a military command bunker near an engineering assignment they were undertaking, survived.
